Bio, Statement and Contact:

This collection of studio work currently includes the history of my progression as an artist with a wide variety of styles, subjects, and mediums.

I grew up in Oregon, graduated from high school in 2007, and have since graduated with a BFA in Studio Art from BYU in April of 2012. I have also worked as a youth mentor, wilderness trail guide, and writer. These jobs have informed my work now and along the way. I now live and work in the area of Metro Vancouver, British Columbia as a wife, mother of two, freelance artist, and teacher.

My current work, including most of my commissions, focuses on the natural landscape. I am interested in geomorphology, or the study of land as it changes over time, at both small and massive ends of the time spectrum. I hope to show what Paul Klee wrote; that "Movement is the basis of all becoming." I see many spiritual and physical correlations between the motion of the earth and the landscape of the mind.
